What Will I Learn in this class?

In this class, we will focus on improving academic writing. This will include structure, style, organization, grammar, word choice, etc. This class will be good for anyone who is currently a student, plans to be a student in the future, plans to take any standardized test like TOEFL, wants to improve their writing skills generally, or who writes work-related reports and emails.

What english level is required for this class?

This class will be best for an intermediate English level and above. If you are unsure about your level, feel free to contact us and set up a free short evaluation meeting online!

What Materials do I need?

You don’t need any extra materials. All materials will be provided.

Will there be homework?

Yes. All classes include a small amount of homework. Homework for this course will include a variety of writing assignments. All homework will be directly related to course material.

How Long will this class last?

August 3 – September 28. This class will meet once a week for 1 hour for 8 weeks for a total of 8 class hours. Class dates will be: August 3, 10, 17, 24, 31; September 14, 21, 28. Please note, there will be no class on September 7 (U.S. Labor Day).

How many students will be in this class?

Minimum: 2 students.
Maximum: 8 students.
