What can I expect to learn?
In this class, we will focus on improving our speaking skills. We will practice English in a variety of situations like detailed explanations, giving nuanced opinions, discussing topics, disagreeing, sharing experiences and feelings, persuading, offering advice or suggestions, understanding how to make your sentences more or less polite when necessary, and much more. We will also spend time discussing complex topics and ideas within articles and other readings that will be assigned for homework.
